The ship was 'planted' on a 23m sandy seabed next to the wreck of the liberty ship James Eagan Layne, which has been a popular dive site for many years. Marine biologists from the Plymouth aquarium have been studying the development of marine life on the Scylla. As part of my Phd I have created a virtual scylla reconstruction which will later be used to predict plant and animal development with the help of artificial life.
